Shopify integration

The source of truth for what you actually keep.

Shopify knows what you sold and what it cost. Kepra reads both, so every marketing decision downstream is made on gross profit instead of top-line revenue — and so lifetime value is measured from real repeat behaviour, not assumptions.

What we pull

  • Orders, line items and discounts
  • Products, variants and cost per item (COGS)
  • Customers, repeat purchases and refunds
  • Shipping and transaction fees

OAuth · incremental sync

Real gross margin

Per order and per product, with discounts, refunds and shipping subtracted — the number everything else in Kepra is built on.

Product-level profit

The Profit Tree resolves all the way to which product an ad sold, so you can see when your best-converting campaign pushes your worst-margin item.

Repeat rate and LTV

Cohorts built from actual repeat purchases turn 'this campaign works' into 'this campaign works after 90 days too'.

What we catch on Shopify

The leaks this platform is best at hiding.

01Ads that sell your thinnest margins

A campaign with great ROAS can still lose money if it moves the 22%-margin product. Profit-per-ad catches it; revenue-per-ad never will.

02Discount stacking

Codes combining with automatic discounts quietly erase margin on orders that still look healthy in revenue reporting.

03Shipping sold below cost

Free-shipping thresholds set before your rates changed turn certain basket sizes into losses. It shows up per order, so the threshold can be fixed.

04Refund-heavy products flattering ROAS

Ad platforms count the sale and never hear about the return. We deduct refunds where they belong — against the ad that made the sale.

Shopify is read-only

Shopify is connected read-only. Kepra never writes to your store: it reads orders and costs, and acts only on ad platforms.

What if I haven't filled in cost per item?

You can set a blended margin per collection to start, and refine later. We'll tell you how much of your catalogue is missing COGS so the numbers stay honest.

Do you write anything back to my store?

No. Shopify access is read-only. The only systems Kepra ever writes to are the ad platforms, and only with your approval.

Does it work with subscriptions on Shopify?

Yes — and if you also bill through Stripe, Kepra sees both in one profit view, which almost no other tool does.

Kepra needs all four to tell the whole truth
